Blood of Lathander
Here are the effects of the Blood of Lathander:
- Item Type: Mace
- Damage – 1d6 +3 bludgeoning
- Lathander’s Blessing – One per long rest, if your HP reaches zero, you restore 2-12 HP; nearby allies also regain 1-6 hit points (HP).
- Lathander’s Light – Sheds holy light in a six-meter radius; fiends and undead within the radius are blinded unless they succeed in a Constitution saving throw.
- +3 weapon enchantment
- Spell: Sunbeam
Lathander’s Blessing is a quick way to revive
If you don’t have a healer at hand, giving the Blood of Lathander to a frail companion will keep them in the fight for longer in BG3.

- Rescue Nightsong again from Ketheric Thorm. Then, in Act 3, she tells you about Shadowheart’s past. And then she hands the old spear over, now blessed by Selune.
Pick between the Spear of Evening and the Spear of Night
Based on the choices you make with Shadowheart, you’ll get access to only one of these two legendary weapons. While I’d suggest following your heart, you can choose to follow the stats instead.
Nyrulna
Here are the effects of Nyrulna in BG3:
- Item Type: Trident
- Damage – 1d8 (1d6) +3 piercing
- Zephyr Connection – The weapon returns to your hand when thrown; cannot be forced to drop this via disarming; when thrown, create an explosion that deals 3-12 thunder damage.
- Veil of the Wind – Gain a three-meter bonus to movement speed and jump distance; which makes you immune to fall damage.
- Nyrulna Glowing – Shines with a glowing light in a six-meter radius.
- +3 weapon enchantment

Crimson Mischief
Here are the noted effects of the Crimson Mischief in BG3:
- Item Type: Shortsword

- Prey Upon the Weak – Deals +1-4 piercing damage against targets with less than 50% HP.
