In Spooky Time, Astro Bot turns suitably dark with a trudge through the platform-heavy, watery grounds of a dark castle. The R2 slo-mo ability makes a welcome return. You’ll need it given the glut of ghosts swinging massive blades to stunt your progress.

Bot 1
After acquiring the slo-mo ability and opening the gates, hop over the two platforms in the water then turn right. You’ll see a green ghost juggling to disc with the bot on one of them. Slo-mo by tapping R2, then hop onto the spider and to the platform to grab the bot.
Bot 2
After picking up the slo-mo ability, press on until you come to the green ghosts throwing knives to one another. Press R2 to slow-mo, go through the knives then turn around. The bot is hanging on one of the knives. Slo-mo again and hit the bot to free it.
You can use slo-mo at anytime by tapping R2. It often makes platforming sections and dealing with groups of enemies a lot easier.
Bot 3 – Alpha Male
After the first section with ghost spinning knives that you need to slo-mo to get through, look left to see two candles and a platform in the distance. The bot is on the platform by a scraggly tree.

Bot 4
Press on through the level until you come to the chameleon enemy that spits fireballs and two electric enemies. Deal with them then look to the right where you’ll find a brick wall. Pull on the cord at its base to reveal a secret area. Use slo-mo to grab the bot from the chomping chest ahead.

Bot 5
Press on through the level until you reach the massive chomping wall with eyes. Go left instead, hop the gap, then climb up the building using the jump pads. Use slo-mo on the chomping wall at the top, then solve the green computer chip puzzle by pushing in the block that produces the most intense rumble on your DualShock. The bot is on a couch suspended in the air. Use slo-mo to hop up and grab it.

Bot 6 – Alpha Female
Press on through the level until you pick up the lightbulb that illuminates platforms. Instead of going for the large door, veer right to find a tower in the middle of the water. Hop into the blue door there to reach a hidden area. Complete the platforming section by using slo-mo when the lightning lights up the area. You’ll find the bot on a stone platform at the end.
Bot 7
After opening the gate with the lightbulb, press on until you hit the vertical walls with blue boosters. Go up the first one. Look up before going up the second and you’ll see the bot in the middle of some spinning knives. Use slo-mo and time going up just right to grab the bot.
Puzzle 1
After picking up the slo-mo ability, get through the spinning knives section until you come to a plant you need to spin. Spin the flower, then slo-mo by tapping R2. The puzzle piece is on a platform ahead suspended in mid-air. Grab it before the slo-mo runs out.

Puzzle 2
Press on until through the level until you reach the chameleon fire spitting enemy. Deal with it, then use the cord on the brick wall to the right. Head through, jump on the spider, then use the brick columns to reach the coins at the back. Hit the coin with the evil eyes then pull the cord on the ground to reveal the puzzle piece.
Puzzle 3
At the end of the level when you reach the chamber with all the spinning objects, the puzzle piece is among. Use slo-mo then reach the platforms in the middle of the chamber. Face the orb at the back, then just as the puzzle piece passes, slo-mo and leap across the platforms to grab it.
