We have fallen in love with the blue-eyed robot, which will have a dedicated piece of hardware that is more than just for show.

New PS5 controller follows Astro both in and out of the game

Astro Bot is set to release in September for PlayStation 5, and the little robot won’t be adventuring alone. A PlayStation controller is already going to be a gadget in the game, helping Astro with flying, sailing, and more. However, Team Asobi has announced the release of a companion DualSense Wireless Controller that is not only cool looking but provides extra functions while playing the game.

The controller is white with blue accents, matching Astro’s colour scheme, with a pair of big blue eyes crowning the touchpad. The cool part is that it will provide tactile feedback like never before. According to Team Asobi, the new controller will let you feel the surfaces that Astro interacts with. We’ll have to check this out to believe it!

But that’s not all, the adaptive triggers were combined with haptic feedback, which interacts with Astro’s powers. For example, you’ll feel the thruster when using Barkster as a jetpack, or feel the feedback when using your powers while fighting bosses, like the Dual Speeder gadget to get that extra oomph.
