However, true to the game’s style, you’re given only vague directions to locate these valuable documents. You will be directed to a general area rather than an exact location, and the rest can be tricky since the area is heavily guarded. Where to find the Papers for Belly of the Beast in AC Shadows
The papers for the Belly of the Beast quest you’re looking for are located in a central building within a heavily guarded area. This area is located in Kyoto, to the northwest of the Jesuit Residences, just north of Honnoji Temple, and southwest of Nijo Palace. Once you’ve arrived at the location, you’ll need to use your Observation and Eagle Vision abilities to scout the area for the blue dot, which marks the location of the papers. This will guide you directly to the central building where the papers are being kept.
Now comes the tricky part – getting to the papers. You can choose to confront and eliminate all the enemies around the area, but that can take a lot of time and effort, not to mention the risks. A faster and easier option is to stealthily approach the central building through the southern door. This way, you’ll be able to sneak in without drawing too much attention, allowing for a more sneaky approach.
It’s completely up to you how you want to handle it, though – whether you prefer brute force or a quieter path, the choice is yours.
Once you’re inside the building, approach the door slowly to avoid alerting the guards. You’ll find the papers on a table under a window, but they’re being watched by a guard. You’ll need to take out the guard standing in front of the table before you can pick up the Papers. Once that’s dealt with, you can safely grab the Papers and complete this part of the quest.
