Season 20 Breakout of Apex Legends has just kicked off, and with it has brought tons of new content. The new Breakout Battle Pass is available, and there are new Season 20 patch notes to check out for all the reworks and balance changes.
The Anniversary Collection Event is also underway, and with it are tons of new rewards. We’re here with our full guide on the 5th Anniversary Collection Event for Apex Legends so you can know everything to earn, and how to do it.
Apex Legends Anniversary Collection Event dates
The Anniversary Collection Event for Apex Legends began on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, and runs until Tuesday, February 27, 2024. This gives players two weeks to grind through the event.
Players will be able to play the new LTM Straight Shot, work through a community-created reward tracker with special rewards from talented artists, and have the chance to earn 150 Heirloom Shards.
5th Anniversary Collection Event Skins
There are a total of 12 new Legendary skins players can get in the 5th Anniversary Collection Event for Apex Legends.
These new skins are available for the following Legends:
- Bangalore
- Crypto
- Seer
- Catalyst
- Loba
- Valkyrie
- Mirage
- Octane
- Fuse
- Wraith
- Pathfinder
- Wattson
You can earn each of these skins by either purchasing them for 1,800 Apex Coins, or they can craft them using 2,400 Crafting Materials. Whatever way you decide to get them, you’ll be able to deck out your Legend in style.
If you complete the full collection for the Anniversary Event, including Legend skins and weapon skins, you’ll earn 150 Heirloom Shards. This will let you purchase the Heirloom or Prestige skin of your choice.
Community Reward Tracker and all rewards
Much like the previous Anniversary Events, the 5th Anniversary Collection Event has a special Reward Tracker that includes rewards designed by the community. These rewards include:

You’ll be able to earn these rewards by playing the LTM Straight Shot and completing challenges within the mode.
LTM Straight Shot explained
Straight Shot is the new limited-time mode introduced for the Anniversary Event. This mode is similar to Trios but streamlines the process for a much quicker experience.
To begin, there is no Jumpmaster. You and your team will spawn above a random POI and drop in. There will be two teams at each POI, which you can choose to engage with or run. There are a total of 30 players in the Lobby for a quicker game.
Once the match begins, the ring will focus on a smaller radius, making it harder to avoid other teams. The ring will continually focus in smaller at a faster rate.
Weapons will spawn kitted at different rarities. There will be more drops for more loot, as well, making it quicker to get good gear.
It’s up to you and your squad how you want to tackle the LTM, although it’s recommended to move fast and take down enemies quickly. This will put you in a much better position to win the game, as well as earn the rewards from the event quicker.
No waiting for requeue
In addition to a much faster game experience, the LTM Straight Shot also allows for a quicker death experience. You can requeue for a game with your party directly from the death screen.
Shop updates for Anniversary Event
Along with the event running for two weeks, every few days the shop will update with new Anniversary bundles to purchase for Apex Coins. These are the dates for the store bundles:
- February 13 to February 17
- February 17 to February 20
- February 20 to February 24 to February 27
