In Arc Raiders, Wires are harder to come across than they should be. In a world besieged by hostile robots and strewn with abandoned human technology, you’d expect them to be a dime a dozen. Alas, that’s not the case.
You’ll need to put in some work to find Wires if you plan on completing quests like After Rain Comes, crafting weapon mods and grenades, and taking part in the Expedition project. In this guide, we’ll walk you through how and where to find Wires in Arc Raiders.
How to find Wires in Arc Raiders
Wires are obtained from crates, containers, shelves, drawers, computers, servers, and so on in areas marked as containing Electrical and Technological loot. Here’s a brief rundown of the best spots to search for Wires on each map:
- Dam Battlegrounds: Research & Administration, Control Tower, Power Generation Complex, Electrical Substation.
- Buried City: Space Travel, Research.
- Spaceport: Arrival Building, Departure Building, Launch Tower, North Trench Tower, South Trench Tower, Fuel Control, Control Tower A6.
- The Blue Gate: Pilgrim’s Peak, Reinforced Reception, Ancient Fort.
- Stella Montis: Sandbox, Eastern Tunnel, Western Tunnel, Assembly Workshops, Medical Research, Assembly, Lobby.
You can also buy Wires from the trader Celeste back in Speranza between runs. Each of the Wires costs four Assorted Seeds, and there’s a limited stock of 10 per day.
Lastly, you can also recycle specific items in your inventory when you’re back in Speranze to obtain Wires. Here’s a quick list of loot that coughs out Wires when recycled:
