Who comes out on top in this week's DLC round-up?

Wii

After weeks of pretty strong releases for both WiiWare and Virtual Console we probably should have expected a lull in releases, and this week appears to be it. European Wii owners only have two new games to choose from, with neither of them being that great. Enduro Racer for the Master System is essentially a poor man's ExciteBike and Donkey Kong 3 changes the classic formula for the worst - you don't even play as Mario. Unless you loved either back in the day you're better off saving your points.

Virtual Console
Enduro Racer (Master System): 500 Wii Points
Donkey Kong 3 (NES): 500 Wii Points

And the winner of this week's DLC Royal Rumble is...

Xbox 360
Picking a winner this week wasn't clear cut as none of the consoles delivered anything amazing to get excited about. In the end it comes down to which has the best exclusive content, and that award goes to the Xbox 360 with the Skate 2 demo. Hopefully we'll get some decent game releases next week.

To be honest I feel as though a monthly summary would probably be better than a weekly one - at least, most weeks it doesn't seem as though there is enough new content to justify a weekly article.

Looking forward to trying the Skate 2 demo on PSN this week though - I don't usually like any sort of sports games (bar tennis), but I enjoyed Skate.

I don't mind that there weren't too many releases this week. LOTR: Conquest demo has kept me going! Can't help wishing that Enduro Racer was the arcade version or even the C64 version which was a much better 3D affair.
