Now that Meta quest 3 has been announced, we’re covering whether you can pre order the next-gen VR headset.
Announced on June 1st, Meta Quest 3 is said to be a mixture of AR and VR, aiming to seamlessly blend the physical and virtual worlds together. The fact that it’s up to 40% slimmer than its predecessor certainly makes this more promising. Other important features that have been announced include a faster processor and higher resolution image. The final pieces to the puzzle will be revealed at the virtual Meta Connect event, lasting from September 27th – 28th.

When can you pre order Meta Quest 3?
Pre orders for Meta Quest 3 are now live via Best Buy, and we’re hoping other retailers will do the same soon.
So far, Meta has revealed that the Quest 3 will have a starting price of $499 for the 128GB version. Compared to their Pro version, and Apple’s alleged VR headset, this price seems fairly affordable. It’s also worth noting that the Quest 2 has since been lowered in price to just $299 which would save you 100 bucks.
