LG have just announced one of its newest OLED TV, the LG G4. It will be the successor to last year’s iconic G3 TV range and after months of questions and anticipation, we finally have some more information ahead of CES 2024.
2023 was a big year for TVs, and we saw some pretty major upgrades. OLED TVs are the way to go now, and we’re not mad about it. This year is focused on the addition of AI and smaller changes. Among the line-up of new OLED TVs, LG has also announced the C4, following the successful LG C3 TV. LG’s new OLED TVs are supporting higher refresh rates, Micro Lens technology, and more varied screen sizes.
LG G4 OLED TV release date predictions
LG has announced the debut of its new OLED TVs ahead of CES 2024. Whilst it hasn’t confirmed any official release dates, we can take a look at previous iterations for some potential clues. The LG G3 was announced at CES 2023 in January, and then was released in March 2023. If LG continues with this system then we could be looking at the release of the G4 towards the end of Q1 2024.
At this point in time, it is purely speculation as we don’t have any confirmed information just yet. Last year, we weren’t privy to much information about the LG C3’s release until just a month before it was due, so we can expect a pretty similar treatment with the G4.
LG G4 OLED TV price predictions
LG has not yet confirmed the price of its LG G4 TV range. With CES 2024 happening this week, it’s safe to say we’ll get more information very soon. For now, we can take a look at the previous iterations to get an idea of what the price could be. The LG G3 prices looked as follows:
- 55-inch: $2500
- 65-inch: $3300
- 77-inch: $4500
- 83-inch: $6500
When compared to the LG G3 below, it doesn’t seem too out of the ordinary.
