Ahead of the launch of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom, the latest Nintendo Switch System Update 16.0.3 patch notes are here.
The latest Switch firmware, version 16.0.3, is said to improve on the device’s stability, specifically to enhance the user’s experience with the device.

According to popular Nintendo Switch tinkerer OatmealDome, the latest firmware update is set to “fix bugs that may occur during multiple simultaneous operations on save data.”
The light update ahead of Tears of the Kingdom might preemptively set the system up for the highly anticipated game, and now that the preload has begun, it might be time to get your system onto the latest firmware.
Despite it only being a small update, with the upcoming slew of games set to hit the console, you might need a bigger Nintendo Switch micro SD card – especially considering the download size of TotK.
