Specifically, we’re discussing the G80SD model, distinct from the previous OLED G85SB model unveiled last June. Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 release date predictions
The Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 has been announced ahead of CES 2024. However, the actual release date is yet to be confirmed. With CES 2024 taking place next week on 9th January until the 12th January, it’s likely we’ll get more information then.
For now, we can have a look at the previous iterations to get some clues. The previous 34-inch Odyssey OLED G8 monitor was teased at CES 2022, but took a while before it hit the shelves in June 2023. If Samsung follow this schedule, we could be looking at a 2025 release. However, don’t lose hope. The previous Samsung G9 model was debuted at CES 2023 in January, and was released in June 2023. There is still chance we could get our hands on the G80SD model this year.

Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 price predictions – how much does it cost?
Samsung is yet to confirm the official price of the Samsung Odyssey G8. With CES 2024 taking place next week, we’re expecting to get a lot more information. However, if we take a look at the previous models, we can get an idea of what it could be. The previous G8 model released in June 2023, hit the shelves at $1,500. It’s definitely not cheap but when you’re dealing with some of the best 1440p gaming monitors, it comes at a more expensive price.
