Obviously, the main advantage of this monitor is its low price but it must be said: the colors are good and the picture quality’s great, with deep blacks and crisp details. Although the contrast ratio isn’t the best on this monitor, it is compatible with the now industry-standard HDR10 to improve brightness levels.
It should be said that, from a gaming standpoint, the VG289Q probably isn’t the one of the best gaming monitors for shooters like CS:GO and COD, but it does do well with immersive single-player titles.
