Adjust your console settings

  1. Navigate to ‘Settings’ indicated by s cog icon on the home screen
  2. Go to ‘Screen and Video’
  3. Select ‘Video Output’
  4. Scroll down to ‘Adjust HDR’
  5. Increase the brightness to the maximum for all three symbols

Then, adjust Jedi Survivor settings

Once you’ve completed the above step, go to the game settings in Jedi Survivor and follow the instructions below.

  1. Go to ‘Settings’
  2. Navigate to ‘Visuals’
  3. Find ‘Color & Brightness’
  4. Select adjust ‘HDR Brightness’
  5. Change ‘HDR Brightness’ to 20
  6. Change ‘HDR Black Point’ to 5

This easy trick should significantly improve your HDR visuals ahead of future patches which should iron out the issue.

How to fix broken HDR on Xbox Series X/S for Jedi Survivor?

Same song, different tune when it comes to fixing the HDR issue on Xbox Series X/S. Simply follow the steps below as we navigate to the Xbox and game settings:

Adjust your console settings

  1. Go to ‘HDR Game Callibration’
  2. Click ‘Next’ and ignore the ‘Minimum Luminance’ screen and click ‘Next’ again
  3. Set ‘Maximum Luminance’ to the highest brightness possible

Then adjust Jedi Survivor settings

Following this, boot up Star Wars Jedi Survivor and head to the settings menu. Once there, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to ‘Settings’, then Visuals’
  2. Find ‘Color & Brightness’
  3. Hit adjust ‘HDR Brightness’
  4. Adjust ‘HDR Brightness’ to 50
  5. Adjust ‘HDR Black Point’ to 25

It’s worth noting these HDR brightness and black point levels should be adjusted depending on what kind of display you’re using.

Can you fix broken HDR on PC for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor?

Unless there’s since been an all important patch update, we haven’t seen any creative workarounds for the HDR issue on Jedi Survivor PC.

All we can recommend is disabling HDR until a future patch is released, that should be very soon.
