Built with a 5nm process size, the RX 7900 XT has clock speeds between 1500MHz and 2394MHz. There’s then 20GB of GDDR6 memory and 5376 shader units. The RTX 4070 Ti does have more shader units, though as this is across different graphical architectures, they’re not directly comparable.
The RX 7900 XT kicked off the latest RDNA 3.0 architecture, so if you’re looking to build a PC with the latest flagship hardware this could likely be your best choice.

Despite this, the RTX 4070 Ti also performs well at 4K, though for the price you’re paying, you’d expect it to do more than ‘perform well.’
Ultimately, the RX 7900 XT is the best equivalent to the RTX 4070 Ti. With a lower price and better performance, you’re likely better off with AMD’s GPU instead.
