Super Mario Maker 3DS doesn’t have online level sharing, and that’s a problem

Mario Maker for 3DS is great. It works brilliantly on the 3DS and I highly recommend it, but why can’t I share levels online and access everyone else’s levels? This odd design choice/limitation seems at odds with the game’s very existence.
