Zenless Zone Zero could be getting a brand-new Bangboo in patch 1.1, if this leak is to be believed. Bangboo in ZZZ are adorable companions that help your teams in battle, offering passive effects and attacks that can help with crowd control or healing. The leaks indicate that this new S-Rank Bangboo is affiliated with PubSec, having a uniform to match Zhu Yuan and the incoming Qingyi.
Elsewhere in ZZZ leaks, people are posting about the projected number of Polychrome we can expect in the update. Alongside this, patch 1.1 might see the implementation of a new game mode, along with some more changes. As we approach the official 1.1 launch, leaks only seem to be ramping up.
Taking to Reddit, in a post that has now been deleted, user seek1rr shared images of the Bangboo in question, complete with its outfit befitting a PubSec employee. It appears that the Bangboo will be featured in patch 1.1 since the leaks come from the impending patch that people are able to play in a closed beta state.

While we don’t know anything concrete about the Bangboo other than its appearance, which you can see on Hakushin, all the leaks point towards this fellow making their debut in patch 1.1. This makes the most sense, considering by that time we will have two S-Rank PubSec Agents Zhu Yuan and Qingyi. According to the leaks, and our own speculation, we can safely assume this Bangboo will provide a buff when placed in teams of the same faction.
It is well enough to speculate, but none of this has been confirmed by HoYoverse. If the leaks are true, the data for this Bangboo are in the files for patch 1.1, but we won’t know anything concrete until the update comes out. We’ll learn more about the impending update when the special 1.1 live programme airs, which will most likely happen in August.
