Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch Version has come out in Japan today, and to celebrate Capcom has released a collaboration trailer that brings elements of the Zelda game to Monster Hunter XX. In this case it consists of a costume and some twinkly Zelda audio. It will be available to download from September 1.

Capcom has done something like this before, doing a crossover with the likes of the Zelda series and Okami for its 3DS versions of the game. But still it’s quite a fun take on the IP. It would be nice to see some of the Monster Hunter beasts make their way into Zelda: BOTW, don’t you think?

Monster Hunter XX Nintendo Switch Version is obviously a Nintendo Switch exclusive title, and as it stands there’s no word on whether it’ll make its way to the West. Probably not, but I’ve crossed my fingers anyway.

Alongside this collaboration trailer, a Monster Hunter-themed Nintendo Switch bundle came out today. I really can’t see this selling well, at all. Who am I kidding? It’ll sell out instantly. Here are some pictures of an unboxing from Victor Hu, a poster on the Nintendo of Malaysia community site.

In the meantime, for those needing to scratch their MonHun itch, Monster Hunter: World will be coming out in 2018 for the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
