Microsoft has confirmed that it will host an Xbox Games Showcase Extended stream, after the Xbox and Bethesda stream, on June 14th.

According to a blog post from Microsoft, we can expect “share new trailers, take deeper looks at the news from the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase and speak with some of your favorite game creators.”

The new broadcast will be about ninety minutes in length. It is going out on Tuesday, June 14th, at 17:00 UK time.

The standard Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase is on Sunday, June 12th, at 18:00. When announcing the event, Microsoft said:

“This show will feature amazing titles coming from Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and our partners around the world,” Microsoft said when announcing the event.

“The Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase will include everything you need to know about the diverse lineup of games coming soon to the Xbox ecosystem, including upcoming releases to Game Pass on Xbox and PC.”

A fair bit rests on both the main Showcase and the Showcase Extended, to get people excited again. After the recent delays of both Starfield and Redfall, Xbox has no big games to offer its players this year. And Xbox Game Pass can only carry the load to a certain extent. An in-depth look at Obsidian’s Avowed, say, or maybe something more on Indiana Jones, would get people pumped.
