Xbox has announced its Cloud Gaming service is now available on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles.

As per the announcement on the Xbox Wire, those with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription can take advantage of the service. This means that select Xbox Series X|S-exclusive games can now be played on the Xbox One, such as The Medium or The Riftbreaker. The feature is rolling out to an initial 25 regions today, with Brazil coming soon. After that, it’ll scale to all markets “over the coming weeks.”

Another benefit of Xbox Cloud Gaming means, assuming your internet connection is good enough, you’re able to play many titles without them taking up space on your console’s hard drive. This is especially handy for larger games, or just to save money on rather costly expansion upgrades.

More games are being added to the Xbox Cloud Gaming service every month, of course. The announcement also reveals that Xbox intend to expand their cloud gaming library to include more next-gen games. One specific example given is Microsoft Flight Simulator, which they’re aiming to add in ‘Early 2022’.

Xbox Cloud Gaming is available now through the Xbox Game Pass app on your Xbox console. Check out a video heralding the arrival of the service down below.
