2K Games has released a new trailer to showcase the MyGM mode in WWE 2K22 ahead of a deep dive later tonight.
The returning mode will let you become a General Manager of your own brand in the sports entertainment behemoth. You’ll be able to pick from one of the existing GMs, including Sonya Deville, Adam Pearce, Shane and his sister Stephanie McMahon. Alternatively, you’ll be able to create a custom character using similar tools to the Create a Superstar mode.
Once that’s done, you’ll have to pick a roster for your show. This will include you having to manage your show’s budget to pick the best superstars from the free agent pool. You’ll need to keep an eye on things like superstar’s styles, popularity, contract type and whether they’ll fit as a bad or good guy. You’ll then get to build your show around the roster, trying to keep the crowd happy & boost your ratings.
Scheduling rivalries the WWE Universe want to see is important, as is scheduling championship matches to pop the fans. You’ll even be able to get involved directly in certain matchups, if you prefer a more hands-on management approach. The team at Visual Concepts are promising an even deeper dive into the mode later today on their YouTube channel.
