Wuthering Waves 2.4 is well underway. It has a swimsuit skin with an exclusive discount available for fans to take advantage of, and it also has some limited-time free rewards to claim. It is scheduled to finish towards the end of July where we will be treated to 2.5, marking the arrival of Phrolova. While 2.5 is exciting, leaks have gone above and beyond by revealing the banners for Wuthering Waves 2.6, along with a surprising element for a highly-anticipated character.
According to Seele Leaks as shared on the WutheringWavesLeaks subreddit, the Wuthering Waves 2.6 banners are Augusta and Younuo. It’s claimed Augusta will come out first, meaning she will presumably arrive around September 3rd. Younuo will be second, meaning they should arrive around about September 24th.
In addition to these banners, the leak claims “Augusta is Electro Heavy DMG DPS”. This is a reveal that has surprised some fans of WuWa.
Reacting to the leak on Reddit, there are a fair number of users surprised that Augusta is not Fire. This is because aspects of her design, in the eyes of some, pointed to her being Fire because of her flowing red hair as well as the sun crowned on her forehead. However, it appears she is an Electro, and this has some fans hoping that she will possess “red/orange lightning”.
As for Youno/Iuno, there are claims in the replies that she is an Aero and that her “attacks restore HP (like Cantarella)”. It’s also claimed that “Iuno’s role is a bit confusing [as] sometimes she can deal dmg, sometimes she can heal, sometimes she’s like Phoebe with dual stance/forms”.
The speculation around Iuno’s abilities is considered less reliable, so take it with a heavy grain of salt. It’s also not official that either Youno or Augusta are arriving in 2.6, so we will have to wait and see what Kuro Games officially have planned.
