Leaks have revealed a surprising element for a highly-anticipated character in WuWa 2.6, meanwhile, other leaks go as far as suggesting update 3.0 will have a new area heavily inspired by the best Final Fantasy. While future chapters are exciting, we are set to get 2.5 before the end of July. Wuthering Waves 2.5 livestream date
The date for the Wuthering Waves 2.5 livestream is July 18th. This is confirmed on the game’s official YouTube channel.
As for the release of the chapter itself, it should come out on July 24th. This is because the current 2.3 banner for Lupa ends on July 23rd at 11:59 server time.
Lupa is a new 5-stars character, and her banner includes reruns for Sanhua, Taoqi, and Chixia. There is also a banner for the new 5-star weapon, Wildfire Mark. This expires at the same time as Lupa.
When does the Wuthering Waves 2.5 livestream start?
The start time for the Wuthering Waves 2.5 livestream is 4AM PT/7AM ET/12PM BST on July 18th. There’s no mention of how long the special programme preview will last, but they are typically 40-minutes to an hour.

You will be able to watch the special programme preview on either YouTube or Twitch. It’s always worth watching live because Kuro provide first-ever gameplay footage of the new incoming 5-star characters, and they also showcase events and more.
Of course, the biggest attraction of the previews are codes for free rewards. We will make sure to share the codes for July 2025 as soon as they are added so you can redeem before they quickly expire.
The new character banners for Wuthering Waves 2.5 include Phrolova. She is 5-stars, and she looks incredible with her bloody red aesthetic and bandage hiding one of her eyes.
Aside from Phrolova, it’s expected that we will get a rerun of Cantarella. She was released earlier this year in update 2.2, so it’s good fans have another chance to pull as she quickly became a fan-favorite.
