Wuthering Waves 2.4 is imminent. It will introduce Cartethyia right away as a brand new playable character, meanwhile, WuWa fans will also be able to get a big discount and voucher for a new stunning swimsuit skin. Wuthering Waves 2.4 release date

The release date for Wuthering Waves update 2.4 is June 11th/12th pending on your region. This has been confirmed by Kuro Games.

When the episode launches, WuWa fans will be able to get Cartethyia as a new 5-star character. Her banner is scheduled to last until July 3rd, where she will be replaced by the other new 5-star character, Lupa.

With each episode lasting six weeks, it’s expected that 2.4 will end around roughly July 24th. Leaks will start to emerge for 2.5 soon, but there are already leaks as far as 3.0, which claim it will introduce a new region inspired by the greatest Final Fantasy.

When does Wuthering Waves 2.4 start?

The release time for when Wuthering Waves 2.4 will start is 8PM PT/11PM ET on June 11th, as well as 4AM BST on June 12th. The above comes courtesy of Kuro Games who report that the new WuWa episode is expected to start at 11AM (UTC+8) on June 12th.

As for maintenance, it is scheduled to start at 1PM PT/4PM ET/9PM BST on June 11th. Of course, last-minute delays can always occur, but this is the plan from Kuro.

How to preload WuWa 2.4 and file size

If you play Wuthering Waves on mobile or PC, you can preload 2.4 before maintenance begins. Below are the pre-download steps courtesy of Kuro Games:

• PC: When pre-download for the latest version becomes available, “New Version Pre-download” appears below the “Start” button on the launcher interface. Select this option to pre-download the resources.
• Android/iOS: When pre-download for the latest version becomes available, press the “Pre-download” button, either on the title screen after a successful login or on the in-game Terminal page, and confirm to pre-download the resources.

In addition to the above, below is the file size for PC and mobile:

• PC: 19 GB. To ensure smoother subsequent processes, such as decompressing, it is recommended that you have at least 38 GB of spare storage space on your PC.
• Android/iOS: 11 GB. Approximately 22 GB of storage space is needed for the decompression process. This space will be used only temporarily and will be freed up once the maintenance is completed.
