Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive have announced that zombie shooter World War Z has arrived on the Nintendo Switch today.

The game originally landed on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC back in 2019. Taking its cue from the 2013 Brad Pitt film, you’ll be trying to survive a post apocalyptic world against masses of the undead. Expect a thrilling story campaign following survivors in New York, Tokyo, Moscow and Jerusalem.

There’s plenty of stuff here that’s made it across from the other releases. These include the multiple game modes for you and up to three other friends including the super-tough Challenge Mode. There’s seven unique classes and a whole arsenal of deadly weapons to take down the zombies with.

Saber Interactive has also confirmed that the Nintendo Switch version will also get an upcoming Horde Mode Z game mode and Marseille story mode as post-launch DLC at a future date. There’s also a PvPvZ mode coming along in the next few days.

World War Z is available now for the Nintendo Switch. Check out the game’s trailer for yourself below. For more zombie action, the expanded release World War Z: Aftermath arrived on Xbox, PlayStation and PC just a few weeks back.
