Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive have marked today’s launch of World War Z: Aftermath with a new trailer.

The expanded version of the 2019 original release, including all the content from the Game of the Year Edition of that game. However, in addition hunters can enjoy two new story episodes set in the Vatican City and in Russia’s Kamchatka region. There’s also an overhauled melee system that now allows you to dual wield weapons and an optional first person mode.

There’s four new playable characters in the form of Sophia, Giovani, Daniela and Marco. Four player co-op and cross play is supported, and the next generation consoles get to enjoy 4K and 60 FPS visuals. Those who already own the original game can also get an upgrade to Aftermath at a lower price. A new Horde Mode XL promising hundreds more zombies than ever before is also on the way in a post-launch update.
