Wii U hardware sales have reached approximately 6.68 million units after selling just over half a million last quarter, Nintendo has revealed.
Nintendo’s latest financial results stated that the Wii U sold 510,000 units in the three months through June 30, 2014, with software sales totalling 4.39 million. 2.82m of those were Mario Kart 8.
Despite the sales, Nintendo still totaled losses of 9.47 billion yen (£54.7 million/$92.6 million) last quarter.
