Mario Kart 8 sold 2.82 million units in its first month on sale, Nintendo has announced. The figure includes copies bundled with the Wii U and digital versions. 590,000 units were sold in Japan alone.
With reports in May of Wii U hardware sales reaching 6.17 million units, the figures mean that almost half of Wii U owners have potentially purchased Mario Kart 8.
