What Remains of Edith Finch could be coming to Xbox Series X/S & PlayStation 5, according to a Taiwanese ratings board.

As spotted by Twisted Voxel, the adventure has seemingly been rated for both consoles overnight. While the board has since removed the listings, it wasn’t before Voxel got a screenshot of the entry in question in its article. The listing rates the game as a PG-15 for “Violence, Tobacco and alcohol” as well as “inappropriate language”.

There’s not been an official comment from the game’s publisher, Annapurna Interactive, just yet. However, the game has also been spotted getting another recent ratings application on the Korea Game Rating and Administration Committee. (Thanks, Games Radar). This one didn’t have a format attached to it, but was made on March 17 of this year.

Annapurna Interactive has said it’ll be holding a showcase later this month. Is that where the publisher intends to make the reveal? We’ll have to wait until July 29 at 8pm UK time to find out.  If you’re unfamiliar, What Remains of Edith Finch is a first person adventure. You play as one of the Finch clan, returning to their family home to discover what happened to the titular character.

What Remains of Edith Finch originally launched in 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PC, followed by Xbox One. The game eventually made its way to Nintendo Switch in 2019. It’s pretty good, as Colm remarked in our original review.
