How Does Battle Rage Work in MW2?
When activated, Battle Rage allows you to regenerate your health quickly, gives you resistance to tactical equipment, and continuously refreshes your Tactical Sprint. This upgrade is incredibly useful for when you’re injured and you need to get out of a sticky situation.
It’s important to note, though, that the health restoration it gives won’t prevent enemy teams from focusing you down quickly. This means that you’ll need to exercise caution when it’s in use because if you die while it’s activated, your Field Upgrade will disappear.

Also keep in mind that this enhancement isn’t immediately usable during the start of the game. Battle Rage, like any other Field Upgrade, has a meter that gradually fills up throughout the course of a match. Luckily, you can fill it up faster by consistently getting kills in a lobby.
Once it’s been activated, you can make use of the aforementioned benefits that it brings for approximately 20-25 seconds. Afterwards, you’ll have to fill up the Field Upgrade meter all over again to activate Battle Rage.
