Groups, a new feature in MW2, creates multiple social hubs where players will be able to converse with each other freely. Once it’s been released, you can access it through the Social menu where it’ll allow you to search for specific Groups that cater to your interests. With it having dedicated text channels, meeting new people and creating squads will be easier than ever.

With the MW2 midseason update coming up, new enhancements are once again on the horizon for the popular CoD title. This is only one of multiple additions that are being brought in during the latest patch for Infinity Ward’s entry.

How to join or make Groups in MW2 & Warzone 2?

Once the Groups feature goes live after the midseason update drops, simply head over to the Social menu in MW2. There will then be three icons that you’ll immediately find at the Groups tab, namely Browse Groups, Create Groups, and My Group Request.

If you want to find a specific Group, you can press the first option to do so. On the other hand, you’ll have to select the second choice if you want to manage a Group yourself. You will then be able to place different labels on what you create based on your preferences.

These can be completely centered around MW2 game modes itself. Alternatively, you can even opt for non-game related topics such as music, sports, etc. You’ll also be able to change the Group’s name, language, and privacy settings once you’ve created one.
