Warzone 2 will be getting a new mode later this week with the arrival of Season 1 Reloaded, and it’s one that adds an unexpected bit of football (or soccer) into the shooter.

The Warzone Cup mode will be a limited time offering, putting two teams of three against each other on the Al Easima Field. Each team will have a trio of special ATVs at their disposal.

These ATVs will have a special Pulse ability that will allow them to push a giant football, and just like Rocket League, you’re tasked with getting the ball into the opponent’s goal.

You’ll even be able to grab power-ups in the form of Shock Sticks that you can toss at opponents and stall their vehicles – and yes, you’ll even be able to boost a little too. Nice!

Five goals is what it’ll take to win – although there’s also a five minute time limit so you don’t have to worry about going to extra time here.

Naturally, Raven and Activision are hoping you’ll play this mode with the currently available Neymar Jr, Paul Pogba or Leo Messi Operators – all of which are still available on the store.

The new mode will be a part of the Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 Season 1 Reloaded update, which is scheduled to drop on December 14.
