Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to welcome you this summery Wednesday morning, just mere days before E3 2021 gets mental and inundates us with more content than you can shake a stick at, to the new look VideoGamer.com. Over the past many months we’ve been squirreling away on the new VideoGamer behind-the-scenes to launch as soon as humanly possible, and we’re delighted that today is that day!
Aside from the very obvious shiny new site, our aim with the new VideoGamer was to make the new site quicker, more lightweight and more user-friendly, but on top of that, we wanted to give our writers the tools to make their jobs easier and to allow their amazing content to get more traction on the world wide web. Of course, it could also mean we get to give the community a home again. Every week for the podcast there are tons of you that write in, and now, thanks to the reintroduction of user comments, you can get as up, close and personal on VideoGamer.com too and make your voices be heard and get involved in chat with like-minded gamers.
To celebrate such an auspicious occasion, Capcom UK have also given us a brand-spanking new – and super sexy – Monster Hunter Rise Nintendo Switch bundle to giveaway to one lucky individual – Monster Hunter Rise, of course, whose 3.0 patch dropped a mere week or so ago, and Josh was a fan of when he reviewed it back in March. The bundle includes the Monster Hunter Rise Switch console (with Monster Hunter Rise download code), a Monster Hunter Rise Switch Pro Controller and the Monster Hunter Rise Collector’s Edition, fresh with Magnamalo Amiibo.
