It’s been announced that the upcoming Warzone Mobile will feature its own bespoke multiplayer modes, away from the traditional Battle Royale mode.
The news was revealed by the official Call of Duty Warzone Mobile Twitter account, saying “We’re bringing you a smaller, more focused MP mode that differentiates itself from (Modern Warfare 2) and (Call of Duty Mobile)”.
The mode will allow players to “test weapons, play quick matches and train for the main affair” – says Activision.
While it’s not given away all the details just yet, it’s revealed two of the maps players will be able to fight in as part of the mode, including TV Station and fan-favourite Scrapyard.
The news comes just days after pre-registrations for the highly anticipated title were finally opened to iOS phone users, having been available on Android for some time.
There’s still no release date just yet, but Warzone mobile is expected to arrive at some point in early 2023. In the meantime, make sure to check out the new Al Mazrah map in Warzone 2.
