Developer Fatshark has announced another delay to upcoming co-op action shooter Warhammer 40,000: Darktide.

The studio revealed the news to fans via the game’s official Twitter account. The PC version will now launch November 30 while the Xbox Series X|S one will arrive “shortly after”. However, the studio didn’t offer an exact date for the latter. “Delaying a game is perhaps one of the most difficult decisions a developer faces and one we are not excited about making,” it said.

“Still, we hope this speaks to our commitment to taking the time necessary and doing whatever it takes to get you the best possible game. While we have been humbled by the great feedback on the game so far,” they continued. “We also need more time to improve stability, performance, and to mature key systems. Each is critical to making sure we have the best possible experience for you, the players.”

As a sort of make-up for the delay, the team will be holding a series of public tests and betas for the game. The first of these is aiming to take place as early as mid-August. So if you’re interested in taking part, you should sign up here. There’ll be more information on that closer to the tests.

As alluded to, it’s not the first delay for Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. Last summer, the game was delayed to Spring 2022 before subsequently being set for September until this latest delay.
