Developer Big Bad Wolf Studios and publisher Nacon have pushed RPG Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong into 2022 from its original 2021 release date.
We were, however, introduced to one of the game’s three playable characters during the Nacon Connect event last night. Described as a vamp that “has it all” Galeb is one of the oldest and most feared vampires in all of Boston. While unsentimental, he’ll play a pivotal role in the events of the game that affect the vampiric secret society, the Camarilla.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong will tell the story of Hazel Iversen, the Swan. As the new Prince of the Boston Camarilla, she intends to assert her power and protect the Masquerade at any cost. As events involving murder, betrayal and power unfurl, you’ll play as Caleb and the as-yet-to-be revealed other two vampires to investigate the dark goings on and protect your Sect. The game, set in the World of Darkness universe, was originally expecting to launch in 2021 when it was first announced in October 2019.
Check out Galeb’s trailer for yourself below. Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong is looking to launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC in February 2022.
