Riot Games has teamed up with Discord to release a new collection of decorations to customize your profile in the style of your favorite Valorant Agents Jett, Reyna, and Omen. This collaboration marks the first-ever gaming-themed items in the Shop on Discord in partnership with a game developer as Riot Games celebrates the release of the newest Agent in the game, Clove. Discord is a popular social platform used by millions of gamers, who collectively have played over 1.5 billion hours across 60,000 different games while using Discord, with Valorant ranking in the top five most played. For those who want to make their experience a little more unique, Discord recently added a store in September 2023 where users can purchase unique, and often limited-time, items to spruce up their profile.
Discord announced the collaboration on X saying, “Rep your favorite @VALORANT Agents with our all-new collection of Avatar Decorations and Profile Effects, now available in the Shop. Keep an eye on the clock, because the Buy Phase for these ends May 7th.”
In a press release, Nico Maurette, Product Marketing Director at Discord spoke about the collaboration saying, “Ever since we launched Shop, we’ve heard from many of our users that they want gaming styles to show off on their Discord profiles. We’re thrilled to work with our friends at Riot Games to offer this limited-time VALORANT collection, so now they can use their Discord profile to express their love for Valorant and any of their favorite Agents.”
The Valorant X Discord collection is available to purchase in the Discord Shop until May 7th, with every item costing £15.99 unless you have an active Nitro subscription which lowers the price to £11.99. Here are all of the items available to purchase as part of the collection;
- A Hint of Clove (Avatar Decoration) – Back again from the great beyond.
- Omen’s Cowl (Avatar Decoration) – Embrace the shadows.
- Reyna’s Leer (Avatar Decoration) – The last thing they’ll ever see. Lucky them.
- Frag Out (Avatar Decoration) – Five down. None to go.
- Blade Storm (Avatar Decoration) – Watch this.
- Clove’s Ruse (Profile Effect) – Smoke’s out. Time to make some mischief.
- ACE (Profile Effect) – Too bad there’s only 5 of ’em.
- The Immortal Clove (Profile Effect) – They’ve got all the time in the world.
Valorant is about to enter Episode 8 Act 3 next month, with players expecting big changes to come to some highly used agents. But, before that, the 8.05 update went live earlier this week which brought some much-needed fixes to the game, as well as the release of the Clove, the highly anticipated 25th agent in the game.
