Valorant players love new weapon skins, and this new one is a doozy. Called Kitana this new skin which has been leaked in the game files, features a red blade with a gold shell, but when you upgrade it, it can be used as a fan for your character. However, there’s a catch, and most players won’t be able to acquire it at all. Surprisingly, it is exclusive to its upcoming Chinese version, which is set to launch on July 12, 2023.

Unfortunately, the Kitana melee skin is exclusive to the Chinese version of Valorant, which launches in two days’ time on July 12. To get the skin, you can’t just use a VPN either – you must create an account on the dedicated Chinese servers, so you can’t get the skin on your main account unless you’re based in China.

The Kitana skin isn’t the only unique thing about the Chinese version of VAalorant. It’s also introducing an improved way to record and replay your best in-game moments according to another leak, aptly named “Fearless Moment.” Players can easily record and share their best kills with detailed stats.

Global Valorant players have been asking for this replay feature for a while. In a May 2022 blog post, Riot acknowledged it was exploring the idea. Still, there were no immediate plans for a version that all players could use. However, Steven Eldredge, Game Producer on Valorant, reassured fans that they were continuously working on new features.

The game will debut in China with 16 agents and four maps, while the remaining content in the standard version of the game is planned for future updates. Here are the 16 agents included on launch:

  • Sage
  • Jett
  • Phoenix
  • Brimstone
  • Viper
  • Omen
  • Sova
  • Cypher
  • Reyna
  • Killjoy
  • Skye
  • Harbor
  • Neon
  • Raze
  • Chamber
  • Breach

Meanwhile, the four playable maps are:

  • Bind
  • Ascent
  • Haven
  • Split
