When is the V Rising release date?
The full release date of V Rising is set for Wednesday, May 8 2024. As per information from the developers, this is when the version 1.0 release of V Rising will go live. Suppose you’re unfamiliar with how Early Access works on Steam. In that case, this is exactly the same pattern as how Baldur’s Gate 3 was released, following years of development and being playable in early access. Not long left before you can begin or resume your vampire journey.

As it stands, there is no confirmation of when the version 1.0 update and the full release of V Rising launches. With the May 8 release date, we can expect to play the game if not immediately on May 8, sometime in the day. Developer Stunlock Studios has been listening to player feedback on Discord during this time, tweaking the unique vampire experience offered in V Rising.
Does V Rising have a demo?
No, there is currently no demo for V Rising. Instead, the early access version of V Rising has been on Steam for a while, meaning the game’s current state is playable. You will have to buy it, but doing so will get you access to the full version when it officially launches in May.
Is there co-op or multiplayer in V Rising?
V Rising features a Clan system, which lets you group up with four friends. Whether you want to be a lone bat or bring some friends along on your journey, the choice is yours. A shared hatred of deadly sunlight between your comrades is sure to make for a better journey. If you don’t want to make friends, you can make enemies by taking part in PvP action. Endgame PvP is a focus, but there will be plenty of opportunities to take our rivals as you explore.
What’s new in the full release of V Rising?
Since V Rising will be released out of early access, it will be considered a complete game. As such, we can expect a hugely different experience, with plenty of unseen content, new biomes, new weapons, new armor sets, and much more. In a recent newsletter, we have seen The Ruins of Mortium area will be added in version 1.0, a brand-new region to sink your teeth into. As of right now, there are also plenty of DLC additions you can buy, such as the Legacy of Castlevania pack that comes with cosmetics. As you can expect, a massive update such as a 1.0 release is bound to be full of new content.
V Rising gameplay details
V Rising is billed as a survival action-RPG. While this might be how the game begins, you will slowly become aware of everything else it has going on. V Rising features a fully open-world vampire adventure, complete with base-building, co-op, and PvP battles. Other people in the world will build bases and you can raid them just as easily as someone will raid and destroy your base.
