Ubisoft hasn’t got anything to announce regarding the status of troubled PS3/360 game I Am Alive.

Over night rumours spread about the game moving from a fully fledged retail release to a downloadable title for XBLA and PSN.

I Am Alive was announced at E3 2008 and was set for release in spring 2009. That release wasn’t met and the game seemingly slipped into development hell.

“We have not recently announced anything for I Am Alive and that we have nothing official to announce at this time,” Ubisoft told VideoGamer.com.

Given I Am Alive’s troubled history it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if the game released in a radically different form to how it was originally intended, but for now it’s nothing more than a rumour.
