Ubisoft has confirmed Splinter Cell: Blacklist, the publisher’s “most ambitious Splinter Cell yet” that puts players back in control of Sam Fisher as he attempts to infiltrate and thwart a terrorist group known as ‘Blacklist’.
Developer Ubisoft Toronto took to the stage during Microsoft’s E3 conference to demo a mission set on the Iraq/Iran border where Sam Fisher must capture and interrogate a Blacklist leader to stop a terrorist attack.
Blacklist also includes Kinect support, letting players use their voice to distract guards and call in aerial support.
Splinter Cell: Blacklist launches in spring 2013 on Xbox 360. Additional formats are still to be confirmed.
Earlier today, the first screenshots of Splinter Cell: Blacklist leaked online.
