Two versions for Transformers DS

First details of the upcoming Nintendo DS version of Transformers have been revealed today, with Activision offering gamers the choice of buying the Autobot or Decepticon version of the game.

The game will feature an online war over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, with the version of the game you buy deciding where your allegiance lies. The AllSpark Wars see players fighting in conflict between the Autobots and Decepticons in daily challenge mission and global stats.

In addition to the AllSpark Wars mode, each game will feature 20 unique story missions plus more than 20 challenge missions and local wireless multiplayer modes for up to four players.

The game will feature a host of the most well known transformers plus will enable players to convert over 30 vehicles into transformers complete with custom paint jobs. Vehicles include sports cars, fighter jets and helicopters.

Both versions of the game feature Casino Town and Hoover Dam levels, while Antarctic levels are exclusive to the Autobot game and Desert levels are featured only in the Decepticon game.

Both versions, along with a host of current and next-gen Transformers titles, will be released on July 20, with the motion picture hitting cinema screens on July 29.
