Square Enix has released a new collection of screen shots which compare the original PS2 editions of Tomb Raider Legend and Tomb Raider Anniversary with their enhanced ports as part of the Tomb Raider Trilogy on PS3.

The high definition trilogy also includes Tomb Raider Underworld.

Check out the comparison shots here.

A number of digital items were also created exclusively for this pack, including a Tomb Raider Trilogy PS3 theme pack, the official Lara Croft female Home avatar outfit, the Viking Thrall male Home avatar outfit and a collection of “making of” trailers in HD for the entire series.

The collection will be available from March 25.

We’re certainly not looking at a makeover comparable to a generational leap, but the PS2 titles certainly look much cleaner than they ever did on the PS2.
