D&D-themed Borderlands spinoff Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands has revealed another two classes you’ll get to play as when it arrives in March 2022.
The Clawbringer and the Spellshot are the two newbies. As the name suggests, the Spellshot is the magic-based class of the two, with the ability to wield elemental spells against their foes. Their major ability is Polymorph, which allows them to transform enemies into a floating sheep-like creature called a Skeep.
Meanwhile, the Clawbringer wields a massive hammer, and can clear out mobs with an almighty Cleansing Flame. Alternatively, they can throw their hammer until it comes back to them. Does it sound similar to Mjölnir? Well, the trailer says it’s legally distinct, so I suppose we’ll let them off. The Clawbringer will also get a companion in the form of a tiny dragon pet, who’ll offer assistance when needed.
The announcement also revealed a couple of new environments you’ll explore in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands. The Weepwild Dankness isn’t a place you’ll want to tread into lightly with its toxic fumes and fungi. The Fearamid meanwhile is home to countless skeletons and the undead. Finally, Mount Craw is home to more than a few trolls, ready to start a revolution.
You can check out the new trailer below, alongside a story trailer we criminally missed from last week’s Game Awards. (It was a very busy event, in our defence.) Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is set to arrive on March 25, 2022 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
