Monolith Productions and Warner Bros Games have announced a new action adventure starring DC superheroine, Wonder Woman.

While details are thin on the ground, we’re told Wonder Woman will be a single player open-world action adventure. You’ll be playing as Diana of Themyscira herself, fighting to unite both her Amazon family and the modern human world.

Perhaps even more exciting than that, however, is the confirmation Wonder Woman will use Monolith’s Nemesis system. The system was first introduced in Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor and then expanded in follow-up Middle-Earth: Shadow of War. The system offered players to connect with their foes in brand new ways.

As a very brief overview, your conflicts with the game’s enemies could have several outcomes. If you spared them, they would then gain traits related to how you fought them. For example, if you used fire arrows, they’d develop a fear of fire. If they slayed you, they’d grow in power, and there was also an entire hierarchy tree with enemies able to stab each other in the back. It was very complex but most importantly, very fun. Controversially, WB Games actually successfully patented the system back in February of this year so only their games can use it.

We’ve no idea exactly how the Nemesis system will work in Wonder Woman, but we’re excited to find out. We might be waiting a while though, as the game currently doesn’t have platforms or a release date. Hopefully it won’t be too long before we hear more, but for now check out the reveal trailer below.
