Xbox has announced the Xbox Series X Mini Fridge will go on general sale this December.

If you need a quick reminder, back during the run-up to the launch of the Xbox Series X|S, Microsoft commissioned a small number of actual working fridges. They proved so popular that Xbox has now partnered with Ukonic! to mass produce mini versions of these fridges, and they’ll go on sale to the public this December.

The Xbox Series X Mini Fridge comes complete with LEDs and “surface features” that resemble the console. It’ll hold up to ten cans of your beverage of choice, and even has a couple of shelves in the door for snacks. As a handy bonus, there’s also a working USB on the front to charge devices with.

They came about from internet jokes on the console’s appearance made when the system was first revealed back in 2019. Rather than shy away, Microsoft embraced the memes with a tweet of its own by March of 2020.

In the UK, the Xbox Series X Mini Fridge will be able to pick one up from Game, where it will set you back £89.99.  Pre-orders are being taken from next week, before going on general sale this December. Cool.
