Ready at Dawn, creator of PS4 visual spectacle The Order: 1866, will announce its new game next week, GameStop COO Tony Bartel revealed during a first-quarter investor call.
And how does GameStop know this? The retailer’s publishing arm GameTrust is handling the game.
Expect the title to launch on multiple platforms. Last summer CEO Paul Sams said the studio’s tech had been updated.
“Our technology now supports multiplatform development,” he said. “Since the release of The Order, we have been very hard at work to advance our engine and technology to a place where we can deliver our games on PC, Xbox One, PS4 and one other unannounced platform that you will soon find out about.”
GameTrust’s first game will be Insomniac’s underwater adventure Song of the Deep, set to launch on July 12. It also has titles coming from Frozenbyte and Tequila Works.
