Nintendo has announced classic N64 adventure The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask will arrive on Nintendo Switch Online next week.
It’s the latest retro addition to the growing library of N64 games on the Expansion Pack tier of the service. Already on the service is prequel The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time completing the duology of Zelda games from the 90s console. And arguably, depending on who you ask, the best Zelda games of all time.
If you’ve never had chance to play before, the setup is this; you join Link in the unfamiliar kingdom of Termina. The place has a rather large moon problem, quite literally in fact, as the stony-faced satellite is due to crash into the planet in three days. Unless Link fancies himself and the world becoming celestially flattened, he’ll have to undertake a time-looping quest to stop it.
Already since it launched, Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack holders have seen Paper Mario & Banjo Kazooie added to the service. Assuming they’ll continue to release them at the rate they have been, the next game should be announced next week alongside Majora’s Mask‘s release. We’ll fill you in when we hear what it is.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask arrives on Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack on February 25. Next month, Expansion Pack subscribers also get 48 DLC courses for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe over the next two years.Â
