It’s been a hectic period for The First Descendant. A lot of fans have been upset over the August release date for Season 3, but the good news is that fans will be able to experience Season 3 content early, and there are pre-register rewards to unlock. Away from Season 3, another controversy has reared its head for an upcoming update. The First Descendant devs have announced a new skin, and it has received a lot of backlash.

New The First Descendant skin receives backlash from fans

A new skin for The First Descendant has been revealed by Nexon on X. The skin is of the labrodor companion wearing blue overalls. It seems harmless enough with a dog biscuit as a bow tie and golden converses, but it has been treated to a lot of uproar.

There are a lot of replies that echo the same negative sentiment. Some of the replies simply state this is the “worst skin so far,” while another comment says, “No way someone designed that ugly a** s*** and thought it looked good”.

Some comments are even more lambasting. One accuses Nexon of “trying to attract the furry crowd,” while another says, “When I play a rated M game, I expect rated M content, not this stupid s***”.

More comments say it is “creepy,” and another says Nexon should find whoever sanctioned it and “Sack them now”.

Some of the replies are over-the-top, especially suggesting people should lose their jobs, but it’s clear that the skin has not been met with approval. Fans seem to like the skin on the labrador companion, but it’s clear players don’t want dog skins for Descendants.
