The First Descendant Season 3 news anticipated for Summer Game Fest
On X, Nexon has confirmed that The First Descendant will be part of Summer Game Fest. On social media, the developer teased TFD fans “might want to mark your calendars”.
We don’t know exactly what Nexon has planned for the Geoff Keighley showcase, but it will be about Season 3. The likelihood is that we will get a trailer for Season 3 along with an official release date.
The trailer will probably off new Season 3 features and skins, possibly including upcoming bikini outfits planned for summer. Nexon has previously said there will be a slew of new bikini skins to celebrate the summer, including for newly added characters such as Serena. However, there won’t be a re-release of last year’s bikini outfits because they were marketed and sold as limited-time cosmetics.
As for what we know about Season 3 already, the new playable character joining the game’s already stellar roster of heroes is Nell. There will also be a crossover with the incredibly popular Nier Automota, and Nexon has previously teased the addition of a hoverbike.
Summer Game Fest is happening on June 6th. There will be a “record-setting” number of developers and publishers part of the event, and leaker NateTheHate has teased “At least one” of three major games will be part of the show.
