The First Descendant fans are getting free rewards as "compensation" for bad news

It’s official that The First Descendant Season 3 isn’t coming until August. While this is unfortunate, some good news is that there will be the opportunity to experience S3 content early, and Nexon are releasing a slew of new swimsuit skins in early July. In addition, the developer has just revealed that free rewards are on the way for The First Descendant players as “compensation” for further bad news about the arrival of S3.

How to get The First Descendant free rewards

The following free rewards will be gifted to The First Descendant players on June 18th:

Crystallization Catalyst x1
Real Matte Black x1
Enamel Deep Black x1
Bright Matte Gold x1
Matte Deep White x1
Shiny Light Blue x1

All the above will be added to your in-game inbox within approximately 10-minutes of logging in after 12AM PT/3AM ET/8AM BST on June 18th. You will need to claim the rewards before they expire on September 6th/7th.

The above rewards are being gifted as compensation. In a new announcement, Nexon has revealed that the “reset schedule for Void Erosion Purge: Challenge corruption purge stages will be extended to Thursday, August 7,” which also means “the reset timing for stage-specific clear rewards will also be adjusted”.

In addition to the above, Nexon are extending the current battle pass to the launch of Season 3. This has caused a lot of uproar in the replies with players upset that there is no new battle pass for longer than a month.

Many of the replies echo the sentiment that no new battle pass for over a month is a “huge mistake,” and some are claiming that they are going to take a “break” from TFD until S3 arrives.
